About Sell Land Tennessee
Last updated October 6, 2026
We're a small referral service for Tennessee landowners. You tell us about land you'd like to sell, and we connect you with one land buyer who works in your county. We don't buy land ourselves.
Why this site exists
Owning land you don’t use is surprisingly hard to get out of. Agents often turn down rural parcels, especially ones with back taxes, no road access or a messy title. Offer letters arrive in the mail from companies nobody has heard of. And most “we buy land” websites don’t tell you who they really are or how the business works.
This site does one thing: it puts Tennessee landowners in touch with land buyers who are active in their county, and it’s upfront about how that works.
How we get paid
Land buyers pay us a fee when we refer a landowner to them. You never pay us anything, whether or not you sell. The fee doesn’t change the offer you get: the buyer makes their offer based on your land, and it’s up to you whether to take it.
How we choose buyers
We work with a small number of land buyers, generally one per county, so your details go to one buyer at a time, not to a list. Before we refer anyone to a buyer, we ask that the buyer:
- Actively buys land in the counties they cover
- Contacts people we refer within one business day
- Closes through a title company or real estate attorney, never hand to hand
- Never charges sellers fees of any kind
If a buyer doesn’t keep to this, we stop sending them referrals. If you had a bad experience with a buyer you met through this site, please tell us. We read every message.
What we won’t do
- Pretend to be the buyer
- Promise you a price or a closing date
- Send your details to several buyers at once
- Share your details with anyone for unrelated marketing
Contact us
Use the contact details below for questions about the site, to report a problem with a buyer, or to have your information removed. If you want an offer on your land, the quickest way is the form on the homepage, which goes straight to a buyer who works your county.
We’re not lawyers or accountants, so we can’t answer legal or tax questions about your property. A Tennessee real estate attorney or the title company handling your closing can.
